Following the suspension of Niger Republic from African Union—AU over the actions of the coupists that removed a constitutional elected president from office, President Bola Tinubu is currently meeting with some key stakeholders of the regional bloc—ECOWAS.
Attending the ongoing meeting are the President of the ECOWAS Commission, Omar Touray; leader of the ECOWAS delegation to Niger Republic’s military junta, General Abdulsalami Abubakar and the National Security Adviser (NSA) to the President, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu.
