Old naira notes: We’ll be open for business on Saturday & Sunday — Sterling Bank
1 min readBecause of the January 31 deadline given by the Central Bank of Nigeria for the return of old naira notes, Sterling Bank Nigeria limited, has announced that its offices across the country will be open for business on Saturday and Sunday.
This was confirmed in a statement obtained by News Band Newspaper
According to the statement, their offices will be open from Saturday, 28th and Sunday 29th of January 2023.
It however, noted that beginning from 10am to 3pm on the above mentioned dates, the bank will be open to receive old notes.
The statement reads, “The deadline for the deposit of old 200, 500 and 1,000 Naira notes is fast approaching!
“In preparation for this change, we are pleased to inform you that our branches will be open this weekend on Saturday, 28th and Sunday 29th January 2023 from 10 AM – 3 PM to receive your old notes.
“You’re hereby encouraged to deposit your old notes on or before the deadline on Tuesday, 31st January 2023 at 10 AM, after which these can no longer be collected.
“Kindly visit any branch near you to deposit all old 200, 500, and 1,000 Naira notes in your possession.
