Naval officer arrested over death of 16-yr-old girl in hotel

A Naval Rating has been arrested for his alleged complicity in the death of a 16-year-old girl, Miss Nengi Enenimiete, whose corpse was found in the wardrobe of a hotel in Twon Brass, Brass Local Government Area of Bayelsa State
It was gathered that the Navy in conjunction with the operatives of the police and the community youths identified and arrested the unnamed Rating said to be involved in the dastardly act.
A source, who spoke in confidence, said the arrested Naval personnel was in the custody of the Nigerian Navy at Egweama in Brass and would likely be handed over to the police for prosecution after the preliminary orderly room trials.
Recall that the corpse of the teen girl, Miss Nengi Enenimiete, was discovered at the Blevera Hotel in Brass in November by the Manager.
The deceased’s corpse, however, showed no signs of physical injuries, mutilation and strangulation.
