Labour Party to flag off presidential campaign in Nasarawa October 18
2 min readThe Labour Party of Nigeria, will commence it’s official presidential campaign in Nasarawa State beginning from 18 of October.
This was confirmed in a statement by Moses Joseph Auza, the Nasarawa state coordinator of Peter Obi Support Network (POSN)
According to Moses, the Labour Party Campaign Council decided to start the campaign in Nasarawa State owing to the respect, loyalty, supports and strong ideology to stage the one million march for Obi/Datti in the state.
The statement reads, “The labour party presidential candidate, His Excellncy Chief Dr PETER GREGORY OBI and his Vice Senator YUSUF AHMED BABA DATTI are to kick start their campaign next week ( 18/10/22), in the North Central Nigeria and to be precise, NASARAWA STATE (The Home of Solid Minerals).
“The Labour Party Campaign Council deemed it necessary to start the campaign in Nasarawa State because of their total respect, loyalty, supports and strong ideology to staged the one million man march for PETER OBI and AHMED DATTI: which was the first of it kind in the history of Democracy in Nigeria.
“In view of the above, POSN NASARAWA STATE CHAPTER Affirm it’s readiness to receive our August visitors for a warm well come to the solid ground: which will lead to a memorable events of success in the New Democratic Era.
“POSN NASARAWA STATE CHAPTER write to request and solicit for immediate support of campaign materials ( T-shirts, F-Capes, Aprons, Souvenirs & Crested Mini Hand Bags, Maggi, Detergent ect ), from the National.
“Also, funds to hire mini buses for movement of our members a cross the state to the venue.
“I wish to appreciate all the supports that have come from the National since the beginning of this epoch, we have come this far as team and are not relenting our efforts in Nasarawa State to completing the journey to a huge victory at the end.”
