Labour party is now the fastest growing political party in Nigeria — Doyin Okupe
1 min readDr Doyin Okupe, former Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo, on Friday, said Labour party is now the fastest growing political party in Nigeria.
Okupe in a statement he posted on his official Facebook page, said survey shows influx of average of about 100,000 new members daily into Labour Party.
According to Okupe, this number does not include other Nigerians that voluntarily joined the party
He said, “Labour party is the fastest growing political party in Nigeria. Information reaching us from nationwide survey shows influx of average of about 100,000 new members daily. Not counting those who just become OBIdient on their own and just waiting to vote Peter Obi as President in 2023. Fellow Nigerians join the winning team. Become OBIdient today.”.
Meanwhile, Labour Party which was little known became a household name in Nigeria after the former governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi defected from PDP into the party.
Peter Obi currently is the presidential candidate of the Labour Party.
