Kanu’s family warns against burning govt’s properties in S’east

The family of Nnamdi Kanu, the embattled leader of the proscribed Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB), has reacted to reports that the separatist leader, has been poisoned.
IPOB had reported on Friday of an alleged plot to systematically kill Kanu through poisoning and starvation in the DSS custody.
However, on Saturday, a voice note surfaced on social media, directing people to burn down government properties following the report that Kanu had been poisoned.
While reacting, Kanu’s younger brother, Kanunta, warned against the burning of government buildings in the Southeast under the guise that the pro-separatist agitator had been poisoned.
He warned, “those planning to burn government properties in Biafraland under the guise that MNK has been ‘poisoned’ are doing so at their own detriment and it does not represent Mazi Nnamdi Kanu or the IPOB vision,” Kanunta tweeted.
