JUST IN: Police Service Commission chair, Musiliu resigns

The Chairman of Police Service Commission (PSC), Musiliu Smith has resigned his position.
Newsband gathered that the Board of the Commission directed Mr Smith to resign from his position which he obliged.
Meanwhile, the commission has not announced his resignation officially but Dailytrust quoting a source at the commission said that Smith, a former Inspector-General of Police is expected to hand over to Retired Justice Clara Ogunbiyi representing the judiciary at the commission.
Ikechukwu Ani, the spokesman for the commission also confirmed the resignation to our correspondent on the phone.
