“I want Igbo land to be calm and peaceful”, Kanu speaks from courtroom

The detained leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu has called for calm and peace in the Southeast region.
The controversial leader of the separatist movement made the call after the ruling of Justice Binta Nyako, who dismissed the bail application filed by his legal team on the ground of gross abuse of court process.
Kanu while speaking with some group of journalists after the court ruling said, he wasn’t disappointed with the ruling of the court and that he expected it.
He however called for calm and peace in the Southeast region.
According to him, “I want Biafra land to be calm and peaceful. We are fighting to defend our people and not to kill them and that is why I’m here. We will continue to do so until we get victory”.
