Guber poll: Don’t vote for mace thief, Dino Melaye warns voters in Delta
1 min readSenator Dino Melaye, the spokespersons for Atiku, Okowa Presidential Campaign Council, has urged voters in Delta State not to vote for a mace thief.
The Kogi born politician was making reference to the All Progressives Congress governorship candidate in Delta State, Ovie Omo-Agege who is known for snatching legislative mace during a face-off at the national assembly in 2019.
Melaye also called Omo-Agege, a Deputy Senate President, ‘nepotism pro max’.
His statement is contained in a post via his Twitter handle on Tuesday.
The former lawmaker accused Omo-Agege of cornering all the allocated federal projects to his home town, Orogun.
According to Melaye, the five projects were: Defence Space Academy, Law School, Jamb CBT center, Oil and Gas Industrial Park and Independent Power Plant.
He wrote, “Don’t vote a mace thief.”
