Shinzo Abe
The former Prime Minister of Japan, Shinzo Abe, is dead.
Shinzo Abe died from gunshot sustained after he was shot by an assailant during a campaign event speech in the city of Nara.
The gunman was immediately taken into custody by security operatives.
