BREAKING: DSS arrests former Obi’s campaign DG, Doyin Okupe

Doyin Okupe, former Director General of Peter Obi’s presidential campaign council, has been reportedly arrested by the Department of State Service (DSS) at the Muritala Mohammed Airport, Lagos.

The arrest of the former aide to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan was made known by one of his legal counsel, Tolu Babaleye, on Thursday.

According to him, Okupe was on his way to London when he was apprehended by the secret police.

He alleged that the DSS asked him to provide court processes where he paid the fine option following his money laundering conviction by the Federal High Court, Abuja.
