Chief Judge of Yobe State, Justice Garba Musa Nabaruma, is dead.
A family source said Nabaruma died today, Tuesday, 19th May, 2020 in an Abuja hospital after a protracted renal disease.
He served as Yobe’s number one judicial official for about 10 years, having been sworn in since 2011 in that capacity.
The late judge will be buried according to Islamic injunctions today.
The late judge was sworn in as the Chief Judge of Yobe in 2011 and is considered to be the longest-serving Chief Judge of the state.
As at the time of compiling this report, the Government was yet to issue an official statement concerning the death of the judge.
