Army reveals number of soldiers killed by bandits in Niger

Nigerian military authorities have finally confirmed that three officers and 22 soldiers were brutally killed during ambush by the dreaded bandits in Niger State.

While addressing newsmen in Abuja on Thursday, Major General Edward Buba, the Director, Media Operations revealed that seven soldiers were also wounded during the unfortunate ambush.

Breaking down the number of casualties, Buba added that onboard the crashed Air Force aircraft on evacuation mission were 14 previously killed soldiers, seven wounded soldiers, two pilots, and two crew members.
