Army buries 20 personnel slaughtered in Niger by bandits
1 min readThe Nigerian military is currently conducting a mass burial for personnel who were brutally massacred by bandits in Niger State during an ambush in Shiroro local government area of the state.
The Minister of Defence, Abubakar Badaru and his counterpart for State, Bello Matawalle as well as the Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. Christopher Musa, are on ground to witness the burial activities.
Also, other dignitaries present include the Deputy Governor of Niger State, Yakubu Garba; the Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Taoreed Lagbaja; Chief of Naval Staff, Emmanuel Ogalla; families and relatives of fallen heroes; among others.
