Another PDP stalwart in Sokoto defects to APC

A former commissioner and chieftain of the ruling People Democratic Party (PDP), Colonel Garba Moyi (rtd), has defected to the All Progressive Congress in Sokoto State.
Moyi is among the commissioners reappointed recently by Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal.
He was the Commissioner for Security and Carriers before resigning to aspire for the ticket of PDP for Sokoto-East Senatorial zone.
Moyi Newsband gathered was received by the leader of APC in Sokoto and Senator, representing Sokoto-North Senatorial zone, Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko and the deputy Governor candidate of APC, Engineer Idris Gobir at Wamakko’s residence around 9pm on Sunday.
