Abia gov-elect, Alex Otti commiserates with Kalu over wife’s death

The Abia State governor-elect, Dr. Alex Otti, has expressed shock over the death of Mrs. Ifeoma Uzor Kalu, former Abia First Lady, and wife of the former governor of the state and Senator Representing Abia North, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu.
In a statement made available to the newsmen, Mr Otti described the news of Ifeoma Kalu’s death as shocking and painful, because it has denied her family and loved ones the opportunity to enjoy the love and care which her presence radiated while she was alive.
Otti recalled that as First Lady, Mrs. Kalu carried herself with dignity and decorum, while showing love to children, and respect to all.
He also regretted that her death has created a huge vacuum in her family and amongst those that knew her.
Dr. Otti called on Senator Kalu, and indeed the larger Kalu family not to mourn like those without hope, but be consoled by the indelible marks left behind by Mrs. Kalu, knowing that there would be a reunion at the resurrection day.
Otti however, prayed that God would grant Mrs. Kalu’s beautiful soul eternal repose in his bosom.
