An Abuja based Islamic cleric, Sheikh Mohammed Idris says the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu will shock Nigerians with massive infrastructural development in the Southeast and Northwest geopolitical zones.
Addressing journalists on Sunday at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja, Idris said his members were delighted to identify with the APC presidential candidate as the foremost national political leader in contemporary Nigeria and political dispensation, “who is in the forefront of providing good governance and dividends of democracy in our developing society.”
Idris stated that having carefully extolled Tinubu’s visionary leadership qualities, forthrightness, and uncommon courage, he would surely lead Nigerian youth and the nation to greater heights and out of economic peril.
“If he becomes President, the Northwest and the Southeast will benefit more, which he demonstrated when he was the former Governor of Lagos state. So I urge our brothers from the Southeast and Northwest to support his presidential ambition because he is a detribalised Nigerian with uncommon capacity and leadership dexterity to pilot a new Nigeria for all.”
Idris commended Tinubu for being an exceptional politician and a distinguished leader, who has effected monumental democratic change in the country’s political evolution.
“Nigerians irrespective of tribe or religion should trust him for a better and prosperous Nigeria. The Southeast and Northwest including other parts of Nigeria have nothing to worry about. It is going to be a massive one for every region in terms of development. It is our sincere desire that Allah will grant him the enabling grace, wisdom, and protection in this strategic endeavour,” he said.
