OUK Movement Inaugurates GEJ Barracks Chapter

The Orji Uzor Kalu (OUK) Movement, Abia’s largest socio-political ideological group, has inaugurated a new chapter of the association.
Ojisi Iro Ogbaja, Abia State Chapter Chairman of the group on Tuesday inaugurated the GEJ Barracks Chapter of the movement.
Our correspondent reports that the GEJ Barracks Chapter is located at Ohafia local government area, which is the home of the 14 Brigade of the Nigerian Army.
During the inauguration ceremony, Ogbaja reiterated that the movement was committed to mobilising the grassroots for political awareness and participation by raising the bar in the orientation and mobilization of grassroots support as part of its agenda.
According to him, the effort was geared towards actualising the ideals and vision of leadership philosophy based on selfless community service exemplified by the Senate Chief Whip and former Abia State governor, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu.
The OUK movement is the official national support group of the former Abia State governor.
