Tinubu heads to London after Summit in Paris

President Bola Tinubu has reportedly left France for London on a private visit.
State owned broadcasting station, Nigerian Television Authority, reported on Saturday.
Dele Alake, the spokesman of the president, was yet to issue a statement on the details of the new trip.
“President Tinubu, who was initially scheduled to be back in Abuja on Saturday, will now proceed to London, United Kingdom, for a short private visit,” NTA reported.
News Band had reported that president Tinubu attended a two-day economic summit hosted by the French government.
Though, the president who is rumoured to be battling an undisclosed illness blatantly failed to take part in a live economic session at the summit of world leaders in Paris.
Rather, the Nigerian leader asked the country’s ambassador to represent him instead. It was not immediately clear why Mr Tinubu could not go on stage by himself, especially as his office previously announced he was in France to attend the summit and participate in a debate about Africa’s economic prospects.
