Suspected yahoo boys have allegedly raped a septuagenarian woman residing at Urban area in Sapele local government area of Delta State.
According to media reports, the suspected fraudsters broke into the woman’s apartment in the wee hours of June 16 and sexually assaulted her in turns.
The victim was rushed to the hospital where she is currently receiving treatment.
Residents of the community say it has become a norm for such boys to engage in the criminal act. It is believed that this is a new way for them to perpetrate money rituals.
The Delta State police command has not responded to the development.
