Senate president: Sowore kicks after Akpabio, Barau visited LP NWC to thank them for their support
1 min readThe publisher of Sahara Reporters, Omoyele Sowore, has criticized the Labour Party of Nigeria, after Senator Godswill Akpabio, APC consensus senate president aspirant and his deputy, Jibrin Barau, visited the National Working Committee of the Labour Party in Abuja.
News Band gathered that the duo visited the headquarters of the Labour Party in order to appreciate the leadership after five out of the 8 senators-elect of the party endorsed them for the senate presidency.
Meanwhile, angry Sowore has described the action of the Labour Party leadership as hypocritical.
The former presidential hopeful wondered why Labour Party will chose to work with a man who was elected in a flawed election to get elected as the Senate president.
He said, “Why is the Labour Party @NgLabour leadership working with Senator Godswill Akpabio of @OfficialAPCNg who was elected in a flawed election, why is Labour party trying to help him (Akpabio) get elected as the Senate President of @officialABAT who stole the @NgLabour @peterobi’s mandate? See who is working for and with @OfficialAPCNg and @officialABAT now?!. #Republic of Hypocrites! #Revolutionnow“
